I decided to interpret this concept (the gallery being a reflection of its landscape) within the geometry of logo.
I wanted the logo to retain a clean & professional feel, while also appealing to the new younger professional demographic now found in Revelstoke (ski tourists, young entrepreneurs, etc). A more contemporary logo ultimately widens the demographic of cliental for the gallery.
The orange colour used in the logo came from the original logo for the gallery. This provides continuity between the old and new branding.")

Hello! My name's Renée Lemieux. I'm a Canadian graphic designer & illustrator now based in Calgary, Alberta. I grew up in Toronto - this is where I developed my love for art and design and eventually attended OCAD University, majoring in Drawing & Painting. To advance my conceptual and technical understanding of design I later went on to study at Shillington College, in Manchester, England.
