I drew in a way that smaller kids would recognise the big shapes easily, but the older ones would have more of a thrill identifying the smaller ones or the ones that are inside the picture. I added a character, since I think children are more interested on coloring pictures if they can relate to a character and \"become\" that character even if only for while doing this activity. The space theme was chosen because of its popularity with kids this age. The design is clear enough for younger kids to color but offers details for the older kids to keep their interest and have an appropriate challenge while coloring.")

I made the animals in groups of different numbers, from 1 to 6, so older children can count and identify the quantity while coloring. The animals are also displayed as families, since that can improve vocabulary and engage children into pretend playing while coloring. A character was added as well so children can picture themselves in the setting more easily. The drawings are simple in a way young kids can colour the whole animal, but older kids who can identify the details can color with an appropriate challenge.")
