Most of the logos submitted were variations on a simple book bug. Many of the submissions were already really strong. So, I wanted to do something that really stood apart from the many book designs. I opted to take the name literally and envisioned books being distributed via an eye-dropper. Other versions included the eyedropper--but not the book in the liquid droplet. I thought this 'liquid-book' visual was unique in a sea of, well, hard-covered books.")

I wanted to keep it simple and approachable. No Red ;-) Green and Blue were obvious choices for the business/financial sector. The company name, however, really demanded that the bug convey the overall concept—which I took to be \"Your Tax Knight In Shining Armor\". The simple shape of the knight's shield became the canvas for the 'TK' mark. The addition of the calligraphic serifs on the text further support the Tax Knights concept.")
