Katherine A. got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Website for Christian Children's Book
Check out Katherine A.'s Web page design contest…
This is a website for a children's New Testament Bible book titled "I Won't Take the Mark" and a certificate that goes with it.
Visually rich website to accompany classically illustrated book.
Home page / Landing Page My web developer uses http://getbootstrap.com/ for front end work. Therefore, here are ***IMPORTANT FORMATTING GUIDELINES*** =================================== * The site should be 1170 pixels wide. * It should be based on a 12 column grid with 30 pixel gutters Please see attached bootstrap template. It appears below in the uploaded images section. ===================================== NOTE: Designs that do not fit this grid format will not be considered. ===================================== The home page must feature: * THE BOOK COVER, which should be shown as a slim hard-cover children's book (in real life measuring 10"x10.5"), and * THE CERTIFICATE (in real life measuring 8"x10") which should be shown in a frame. Obviously, your image of them will be smaller, but proportional. These two items are sold together as one unit, and the whole point of the book is to to transmit the certificate and its vow. I have uploaded images of the book front and back, and of the certificate below. If you need text, rather than using IPSO LORUM, please use the text copy from the back of the book. The home page also needs an invitation to learn more, buy t-shirts, support our outreach, etc. Here are all the things the home page will need to link to or make possible: Look Inside About the Book About the Author Blog/News Updates Endorsements FAQs Press Appearances Audio (Reading of book) Travels (with a map) POSTCARDS (from Anguilla) Shop/Cart Support our Ministry The examples I provided are really brown and drab, and while I like the parchment and antique feel (which matches the book) I would like to get more color into the design, like the pretty blue of our cover. =================================== We should also put the logo somewhere. Our new publishing house is called Virtue Press and the logo is below. =================================== Brownie points: How could the site be dolled up for Christmas sales? Bows? Wrapping paper?

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their web page design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Katherine A. collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
