What we do: Sprint Gas Australia is a family owned business and for more than 40 years we’ve been a leader in the industry importing and distributing a diverse range of LPG equipment around Australia, including automotive conversion systems for both private and commercial vehicles as well as LPG cylinders for home, work and play. Target audience: The taxi/uber driver - mostly single males in their 20s-40s wanting to make a bit of money on the side, the hours are long but they know if they keep working hard and if they keep their operating expenses really low (i.e. their fuel costs) they’ll make good money and own their own business one day. The average Aussie - young families living in the outer suburbs, earning average incomes which means that money’s always an issue: if it’s not mortgage payments, it’ll be school fees or some other bill. All they want are lower interest rates and a cheaper fuel bill! They’re always looking for new ways to cut their day-to-day living expenses. Rural families - they come in a range of ages, from young single parents to mid-life families to older childless couples. They generally have average incomes and are very budget-conscious; many are already retired, while those of working age may be employed in community services, retail or agriculture.

We need a new look and design for our website (copywriting separate). We have two websites running at the moment (for separate businesses) and we'd like to consolidate to a single Sprint Gas website. We’re happy with our branding (refer to the attached Sprint Gas Style Guide) so please incorporate the logo and our colour palette into the design but feel free to update the overall style so that the look and feel is clean, simple and more modern without being intimidating or too fancy. PMS 485 is the primary brand colour with PMS 2766 and PMS 188 as accent colours used to support. We are open to exploring other colours that might complement these as a secondary palette. Preference is to use the Lato font family as the primary font (instead of Myriad Pro as per the Style Guide). We are happy for you to recommend any other font families that might work well with Lato as a secondary font. Our current website is too busy and dated (it’s very 1990s!) so we’d like our new site to bring to life the simple concept that we offer high-quality products at the best possible price with great customer service. The focus shouldn’t be only on our products but we want the design to communicate that we’re an established brand, we're down to earth yet professional, experts in the field yet affordable. The use of photography is preferred over illustrations with imagery to be included across the full site.
