We have developed a new technology: a tool for developers/programmers which integrates social networks into their applications.
It is primarily used in games, but we also see it being used in other applications.
We integrate everything you know and love into a single, unified user experience - Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, Yahoo... PlayOnSocial lets a user log in to their favorite games with ANY service. Developers will find this extremely useful in increasing the virality of their applications.
You can see how our unified login system works by trying it out at:
PlayOnSocial is an API / service which will be used by developers. The example shown above is a simple implementation of this service in a "sandbox environment," demonstrating how you can login with any service, see friends from all services, update your status on all services at once, and so on.
You may also see a PowerPoint presentation of the product in the attached files.
This website will be viewed by developers looking to license PlayOnSocial for use in their own games/applications/websites. PlayOnSocial can be used in anything from Flash to the iPhone to XBox 360, so it is not targeted at any specific developer.
Our primary target, however, is large corporate developers (not small/indie developers).
No coding necessary. Final submission must be Photoshop, Flash and/or Illustrator files, and must include appropriate layers.
We are talented flash game programmers, so a flash based website would also be acceptable.
You are to design the front page of the website, which should contain the following components:
* Our logo
* A login screen. Use the current login screen in our Sandbox as a starting point: http://playonsocial.com/sandbox/ Please be aware that this login screen may be used in a variety of contexts, and the logo may not always be present.
* Our site will contain the following sections:
-- an Overview (for learning more about PlayOnSocial)
-- a Developer Portal (for managing applications, accessed via the login, above)
-- a Developer Wiki.
++ You do not need to design these sub-pages.
* Visually compelling components which are clean and light on text in order to compel potential clients to stay on the site and read more
* The attached logo should provide a good starting point for color palette / feel, but you are free to modify all of the above.
We are looking for the cleanest most inviting design which captures the essence of our project.
