National Express Corporation (NEC) one of the premier transportation firms in the United Kingdom and North America. NEC operates school buses throughout North America and is responsible for deploying, scheduling, and maintaining the school buses.

http://37signals.com/ - This website uses a centered layout and has tons of beautiful white space. It feels clean and simple and allows users to focus on what they need to do. It also uses large text when needed and smaller text to provide detail.
http://www.wishlistr.com/ - it is just a simple design and doesn't force too much information into a small area. The page is scrollable but manageable.
http://www.flickr.com/ - It has some complex functionality that is still beautiful and simple to use. When you are searching for images it refreshes just the images not the whole page.

The Schedule Page allows the dispatcher to schedule all the routes. This means the dispatcher assigns the driver, monitor, bus, and the yard departure location.
A driver is associated with a yard and a bus. If the driver is changed the system will automatically update the yard depart location and the bus number. When this happens the application will adjust the yard depart time based on the new location.
The amount of information displayed in the table could be more than 80 items even for a single school. The page needs to be simple yet functional.
Our users are typically high school graduates and are not that familiar with computer terminology but are great at working with excel sheets.
They are used to processing lots of information but prefer to have simple websites.
You don't have to use the parent companies colors since this is an internal application.
