Games & Recreational
We are in the business of driving traffic to online gambling sites, specifically Mac users. Our visitors are Apple Mac users wanting to play online poker. Goal: Get visitors to download a partnered online poker room's software. Target Audience: - 21 to 35 year old males. - 55% Mac OSx. - 70% Safari, 15% mobile. - Above average disposable income - Work in tech related jobs. Our website does the following: - Reviews online gambling sites (poker, casino, sports book, bingo, slots, etc.) - Provides "Bonus codes" and other incentives / offers. - Publish latest poker & casino news.
We're willing to be bold and try new trendy features, so long as they are compatible with mobile and search engine spider friendly (aka no one page website designs please).
What to avoid
- Avoid having too many elements, and heavy design. - Avoid anything that is not mobile friendly. - Avoid using too many heavy photos which may lag site speed. - Avoid design that doesn't consider SEO. i.e. Use headings etc.! - Avoid using small headings, make important words POP. - Avoid compacting line spacing and font too close. - Avoid using small text.
- We are getting a new logo so don't go crazy with branding around the current logo. - Google Plus +1's and Twitter Re-tweets are priority for social. - Design must be Responsive compatible. I don't know if this affects your design, but we're coding it in HTML5. - I've only requested a couple pages to be designed, but if you are the winner, there are certainly many more.

Dan St Louis
Ivan did a great job on my photography website design. True to his word, once selected, he continued to work with me to get the final design perfect.
He has a great eye for design - both function and form. He will be my go-to designer going forward for other projects.
I wish I could show my design publicly, but it's so good that I don't want my competitors seeing it and hiring him. :)
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
