ErikHj got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Landing page for new and smart exercise bike
Check out ErikHj's Web page design contest…
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is deemed the most efficient type of exercise when it comes to health. However, it can be quite technical to do properly, how hard, how long etc. We have developed a smart exercise bike that makes it very easy to do high intensity interval training, and to get resistance levels and workout adjusted to ones fitness level and goals. The user will not have to know anything about maximum heart rate, interval times, pause lengths etc. and can be completely novice to exercise. In addition to the bike, the user will get a personal dashboard online with activity visualisations as well as follow up on sms. Our target audience will be men and women 45-70 who want to get in shape or stay in shape and live a longer and healthier life but either doesn't have the time to go to a gym or want to do the necessary research to find out what will work best for them. The amount of scientific articles describing the benefits of this type of exercise is very large. However, very few people is convinced to buy a product by reading an article. This is why we need this page. It needs to be selling and convincing.
This should be a landing page where each section should be possible to edit individually. In other words, graphical elements in one section should not bleed onto the next section. Each section should be shorter than the screen height, so that one easily can see that there is more below it. The page should contain pictures of happy and active people. (However not in a gym or on an exercise bike). All text can be in English for the deliverables, but bear in mind that we will translate it to Norwegian. I'll post some of the messages here as well for new designers: Feedback I have gotten so far: -More feelings, more happy faces, more call to action/order now buttons and more promises to the customer. At the moment there is a lot of product details, but not enough "big promises to make their life better and simpler". Regarding the "big promises" here is a list that should be implemented. This should have a commercial/aggressive/tv-shop look to it. -"Get in shape and be healthy", -"It won't get easier than this", -"Algorithm developed at NTNU helps you workout efficiently", -"Made to give you maximum results, with minimum effort", -"No matter the shape you are in, this bike can help you". After these "promises" are implemented I will start giving more detailed feedbacks on the individual designs.
See the file "mockup.pdf" to see an outline of the elements that is wanted. The elements does not have to have this exact shape or position.
Attached is a number of product pictures that can be used. Contact me if you need another angle etc.
