Studio 110
We are a software company who allows retailers to use/brand our "Photo Finale" photo sharing website. Our working retail name that we use in site and store mockups is Studio 110, but each retailer would brand it with their own name and logo. Our retailers sell photo prints and enlargements, as well as pretty much anything you can put a photo on: folded greeting cards, flat cards, photo books, canvas prints, posters, notepads, calendars, mugs, mousepads, playing cards, photo plates…etc.
The site's demographic is 70% female, hovering in the 18-44 age range. Women with children make up a large percentage.
We are looking for a new face for our site. You can use the brand Studio 110 to build on. We want the site to sell the products, have a non-cluttered, smooth design. Our audience is generally not too tech-savvy, so it must be obvious where to click and what to do, how to navigate. Photos and pictures sell better than words. The products will change and be updated frequently based on customer and promo, so it's really the design aspects we are after here, not so much the content itself. Artsy in a classy sort of way, without looking like a scrapbook. Creative, inspiring, not too corporate.
Must provide jpg and also psd layered art of the main page as the deliverable.

Don't just replace current elements with newly designed ones...this whole design and layout MUST GO!
Certain elements needed are:
- Shopping cart button / text
- Way to join / login
- Language selector
We are looking for the home page to do a much better job of marketing products and providing an interface to navigate to/shop multiple categories of products.
This is a sample redesign that we had in-progress and shows improvements in both those areas (marketing products and providing a UI for shopping for various products):
