With over 15 years development experience, we are launching a new web development agency under the name Shiny Lime.
We focus on writing clean, semantic coded websites and web applications for desktop browsers and smartphones.
We like to write code and outsource the majority of our graphic design work, which is why we need your help.
Potential clients requiring development of websites and web applications. We build everything from clean, professional business websites to rich functional web applications.
We require a design of 2 pages (design only, no coding) that will appeal to a broad spectrum of clients and should strike a nice balance between professional, fresh and modern.
Our website will detail our services, showcase a few of our previous projects and allow potential clients to contact us - it will not be too content heavy.
The design should be flexible and allow for additional content and sections to be added over time.
The designer should consider fluid grids and responsive display over a fixed-pixel design - we will be using media queries to tailor the display to the device (large screens, small screens, tablets and smartphones).
Your design should be provided as a nicely structured/layered Photoshop or Fireworks file.
If you use photographs or other design assets (please, nothing that resembles clip-art) you must provide links to the source so that we may purchase the resources if required.
I have attached a logo (Original SVG and exported as PNGs) which I designed - we like it and are happy for you to work with this, however, if you would prefer to submit a design which includes an alternate original logo, we may consider using it instead.
The font used for the logo is UbuntuTitling-Bold and can be found on fontsquirrel.
We require a homepage that will 'at-a-glance' introduce us and our services and show a few (probably 3) recent projects. We are more drawn to a horizontal nav and no sidebars.
The main purpose of the homepage will be to quickly show what we do and provide obvious 'call to action' buttons/links to the other sections of our site.
The homepage 'may' also show a few client testimonials, 'possibly' show a few recent blog/news posts etc. when or if we decide to implement these things.
The content page will be a template page that we use for pages other than the home page - think services, recent projects, testimonials, contact form etc. it may or may not have a sidebar to provide related content.
Please use these suggestions as a guideline only - you may decide to design something totally different that we love, so please be creative.
