How jmead started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell companies. We will have a website designed as a buyer hub that will include a registration page to view our full listing of opportunities for sale. The other pages will be somewhat static - news and trends, about us, team, FAQ, etc. Our audience tends to be private equity buyers, corporate M&A buyers, and wealthy individuals.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Accounting & Financial
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Modern but not too extravagant. Easy-to-use. The logo we designed is attached, but colors can be changed if need be (blues and grays).
Home page - overview of "buyer hub" with news trends. Hope to have
sliding banner of images (recent awards, offices, etc.) with images
and links to featured deals, news articles, etc. Need a log
in/register section at top, and a subscribe box at very bottom. Links
to social media as well, but not the main focus. The main focus of
home page is to bring variety but also make it clear we have a deal
portal behind the scenes and to register for access.
Logged in buyer - the buyer will log in with their approved login
credentials and come to a screen that shows deals available for
acquisition (we currently have 500 available). The right column will
show recent history (NDAs signed, directors contacted, deals of
interest). Want buyer to be able to personalize their profile and
opt-in for updates when new deals come through matching their
What to avoid
Web design to avoid --> http://www.genequityco.com (this is our front-end of the business that we are trying to bring into the 21st century...)
We are the financial industry, so clean-cut and modern - no pinks, hearts, extravagant images, etc.
