kim 9I got their new web page design by running a design contest:

Animal & Pet
Bad Pug Poop Scoop provides professional and efficient poop scoop services to residential dog owners. We clean dog waste completely out of their yard on a regular basis and dispose properly.
The company has yet to start service, so no website exists at this point.
The style/theme should match some of the already created offline marketing elements. See attached files for logo, business card, door hangers and post cards. Our goal is to communicate clean, fresh, and pleasant smelling outdoors.
Top Navigation (present on all desktop pages) 1. Horizontal Logo top left 2. Menu left aligned with the following items: Services, Get Quote, About Us, FAQ, Contact Us, Login. The menu should be designed to be dynamic so that items can easily be changed without requiring any additional redesign or design work. 3. Phone number upper right. 4. Very prominent "Get An Instant Quote" button. 5. On the mobile navigation menu items will likely be compressed into a drop down, phone number will be more prominent. Footer: 1. All pages will have a footer area where additional links can be included, such as to the terms of service and other content pages. Home Page 1. Top navigation 2. Image slideshow, including stock photos of clean yard, pets, kids playing in a yard, People gathering for BBQ, etc. Later we can swap in some more personalized images for example of the branded service truck. 2. Text content can be taken from existing marketing materials, door hanger. But we want to avoid big blocks of text. Lots of bullet points, maybe use to vector graphics to help convey what we do as opposed to just text. 4. "As low as $10.95 per week" text should be prominent near the quote button. 5.Brief company description text: "Professional dog waste clean up service" 6. Taglines text/graphics: "You have important things to do, we pick up the poo!" "Have a yard that's always ready to enjoy" Quote Form Page 1. Page for requesting a free, instant quote. Style will be reused on any other forms on the website. 2. Elements are name, email, zip code, number of dogs (select), property type (select), Cleaning frequency (select), when last cleaned (select), additional notes. 3. Form should be designed in a way elements can easily be add/remove/renamed/reordered without additional design work. 4. Need design for displaying errors, a required field not filled out, etc. As well as what display of successful form submission. About Us Page 1. Overall style will serve as basis for other informational pages such as FAQ. 2. See attached file for About us text. Mobile Home Page 1. A mobile version of the home page. Other mobile pages will be created based on the design. 2. Phone number and request a quote button will feature prominently.
What to avoid
Style should mimic other (attached) marketing materials as much as possible. No poop imagery!
( Design should be adaptable so we can make changes in the future without having to go back to a graphic designer. For example changing text of buttons, adding menu items, etc. * While it does not need to be a full responsive design, it should not be fixed width. * The mobile version can be rendered completely different than the desktop version. * All text on the website should be HTML, not images so that it can easily be modified. Designs should be clean and uncluttered, providing critical selling points about the service and focusing people to get an instant quote.
