Captain Rob got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Cool Concept Page Design for Precinct Organizer
Check out Captain Rob's Web page design contest…
the website will be a tool to post issues or to organize groups and encourage them to vote.
The logo will be the primary source for the brand image, the website should reflect the logo
I would like a design that is friendly, i have attached a conceptual page to serve as a layout, starting at the top, the logo will be included in the files, the website is to use a mapping tool which will be the feature element, the tool to be focused on Michigan's 14th congressional district which is an odd shape. The tool is in development, however, your design can help inspire the look and feel of the actual functionality. Left to navigation links are sign up tools or start an issue, those need to have icons associated with them. As well as the mapping icons on the right, which will appear on the map when selected or if a box is check to the right, box was not illustrated. We will have a a blog typed board that will push issues, so think in therms of a board that could be scrolled or sorted. Community benefit should have an icon representing each item. that will show up on the map when selected. 3 month calendar feature at the bottom.
What to avoid

When you create a version of the map, use color, the details dont have to be as specific. The mapping software will be tied to the database.

Fantastic design that was very close to complete from the initial iterations. Any updates or suggestions were quickly dealt with. We hope to use Sandeep in the future
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
