The Jay Jay Guy got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
GUARANTEED PRIZE: Design t-shirt for awesome high school service project & Habitat for Humanity! www.FamilyBuild.org
Check out The Jay Jay Guy's T-shirt contest…
These t-shirts should be designed to appeal to teen aged boys and girls, ages 16-18. They will actually wear the shirts on our "build days" at the worksite and at school during the week. For inspiration, please go to www.FamilyBuild.org and look at all the photos, watch the videos and read about this very special project. You can also check out the two school websites for inspiration at www.hockaday.org and www.smtexas.org.
This design is for a t-shirt, either short sleeve or long sleeved (your choice). Please use no more than 4 spot colors (no 4-color process, please). Also feel free to create a design that looks great in only 1 color (white design on a colored t-shirt). The following words must be included in the primary design on the FRONT of the t-shirt: 2013 St. Mark's and Hockaday FamilyBuild.org. We also need to list the families who are financially sponsoring this project on the BACK of the t-shirt. I've attached a PDF with the precise categories and names that need to be creatively integrated into a nice design. Be sure to specify your recommended t-shirt color and display your design on that color. And as a special bonus, we'll also send a few finished t-shirts to the winner of this design contest so that you'll see the finished product!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at NOK 1,799.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
