johnecaserta got their new sticker by running a design contest:
"I Voted" (in Rhode Island) sticker

We support designers by providing office space and community. Here we're trying to help a local non-profit by creating this contest.
What's your vision?
Some states in the U.S. are issuing their own "I Voted" stickers that are handed out on election day (or via mail). Please design a color (full color, 2 color or 1 color) 1.5" round sticker that can be printed as cost effectively as possible. It should be Rhode Island specific (you may find information about the State of Rhode Island at visitrhodeisland.com). The text would need to have "I Voted" (could capitalized or 'v' lowercase) and some visual element that connects the sticker to Rhode Island.
We have heard there is interest in having a sticker, but printing enough for all voters is a factor. Ideally your design would work as a one color design. There are some common R.I. symbols: anchors, water, sails, shellfish, colonial architecture, the color blue, the theme of hope). This contest is not sanctioned by the state or any government agency.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Sticker starts at NOK 1,699.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
johnecaserta collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
