Maida is a wonderful designer who understood right from the start exactly what I was looking for. She has been wonderful to work with showing great patience in a flurry of last minute changes.
I love what she has created for me, quite beautiful.
How K0R19 started their stationery journey
•I worked in professional theatre, television and print. In addition, I worked as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics having studied makeup design & special effects. After 4 years of auditioning, I decided I wanted to experience what it felt like to be a “Regular Joe”. This meant getting up everyday, going to work and making money - usually a foreign concept for us artsy types. This shift in goals lead to a six year sales career in national accounts. Though enjoying the lifestyle that money could buy, I felt disconnected and unhappy behind the computer all day. The most creative part of my job became the color scheme for my Excel workbooks (they were really, really pretty). Being aware that life was out there to be lived, my husband and I decided to resign from our jobs, pack up our stuff and take off to travel. We travelled to 15 countries around the world over a 10 month period. Upon return, I decided to do what I loved the most – develop projects that tap into my creativity, artistry, killer organizational skills and outgoing personality. I absolutely love helping people feel good about who they are, what they are doing and where they want to go next. Consequently, I decided to launch a free-lance company offering services in personal image and event consulting.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience are women between the ages of 25-45. Though I will be working with teens & more mature women, the majority of my client base for makeup artistry, lifestyle coaching & event consulting will fall within the age range mentioned above. I hope to target a downtown, contemporary clientele with bigger budgets. I will be working in a very competitive market place where look and aesthetic mean more than skill sometimes. The image I personally present will be one of my largest selling tools - in addition to a strong referral system.
1. Makeup Artistry - Bridal, Event, Makeup Lessons, Teen Makeup, Teen Makeup Partys
2. Lifestyle - Health & Wellness Coaching (Fitness/Nutrition/Style)
3. Event Consulting - Weddings, Birthday Bashes, Showers, Corporate Luncheons, Sweet 16s etc.
My services will include:
I am looking for a stationary package that will translate to a business card, letters & envelopes and the opening page of my website. My design inspiration is attached in a power point presentation with this design brief. I think it better explains my vision better than trying to describe in words.
My business card needs to include the following information:
Personal Image & Event Consulting
****I do not require my address on my business card at this time.
I am really open to creative ideas - I do really want to have an exquisite stationary package that is contemporary and reads "expensive".
Lastly, I prefer matte vs. glossy unless you feel it would look better another way.
