Art & Design
Fort Worth Design District offers different types of commercial real estate for lease in North Fort Worth while enhancing the areas artistic talents. The Snap and Share Art Walk is our current attraction which will showcase different art mediums including graffiti and street art murals, sculptures and more. All art in this district is designed to be interactive, fun and engaging. Our target audience includes both, kids and adults. Families can "snap and share" pictures together, while leasing office space or retail space from this design district. The buildings include warehouses, shops, retail centers, salons and more.
What's your vision?
We are needing an art piece designed that will be used on large banners. We are giving designer art and design freedom as you see suitable. This piece will be displayed on a banner attached to a building, similar to a billboard. We are wanting this piece to be both, inviting and interactive. Ideally, this art will serve as a mural or picture op backdrop, where people or a person are to stand in front of it and take a picture. Make sure that your design leaves room for people to pose and not block the art. On the artwork, we ask that “Fort Worth Design District" and "Snap and Share Art Walk” is written/visible, giving credit to the venue (possibly in the bottom left hand corner. We want this strategically placed, where it cannot be cropped out. Feel free to adjust art as you see. Our goal will allow the piece to be readable from 50 feet, and will most likely be used in a 14’x 40’ banner. Please make art to scale. The background color/art should fill the full-size banner. Remember, the text and person will be the focal point, we want crisp and clean image with high resolution. Less could be more when it comes to the design. The design should beg for interaction and photo opportunity. Use as much or as little of the space to set the right effect, remember there may be a person(s) in the photo. We want to emphasize that text/wording must be readable from a 50 foot distance, something that looks great on social media and print (think Instagram and aesthetically pleasing). Different fonts may be used and are highly encouraged. Colors should be fun, use your imagination. This art walk is being held in Fort Worth, we want to emphasize the culture. Image is attached for reference. Below is an attachment of a picture "Greetings from San Diego". This piece should say “Greetings from Fort Worth”, can add "Texas", discretion is up to artist. Make sure to emphasize Fort Worth culture, this is an opportunity to highlight historic and modern Fort Worth. If selected, we need artist/designer to provide raw files of the designs as well as vector files. They will be used for large printing purposes, so images and text must not pixelate. WINNER OF THIS CONTEST WILL ALSO HAVE THE OPTION TO WORK WITH US ON OTHER PROJECTS WE HAVE, INCLUDING SEVERAL MORE DESIGNS FOR THIS ART WALK.
