This was a tough decision because three of the designers submitted designs that were truly outstanding. They each nailed the creative parameters. We're very pleased with the experience.
Really took the time to get it right.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Fort Worth Design District offers different types of commercial real estate for lease in North Fort Worth while enhancing the areas artistic talents. The Snap and Share Art Walk is our current attraction which will showcase different art mediums including graffiti and street art murals, sculptures and more. All art in this district is designed to be interactive, fun and engaging.
Our target audience includes both, kids and adults. Families can "snap and share" pictures together, while leasing office space or retail space from this design district. The buildings include warehouses, shops, retail centers, salons and more. A section of the district is built out of bright colored, recycled shipping containers!
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are wanting a large butterfly or butterfly wings to use as one of the pieces of art in our Snap and Share Art Walk. The butterfly will be printed on a banner that is 8' wide x 16' high. We would like to have a black background with bright, multi colored wings. The idea is for a person to stand in front of the butterfly, where it's body would be, and take a picture.
We are giving designer art and design freedom as you see suitable. This piece will be displayed on a banner attached to a building, similar to a billboard. We are wanting this piece to be both inviting and interactive. Ideally, this art will serve as a mural or picture op backdrop, where people or a person are to stand in front of it and take a picture. Make sure that your design leaves room for people to pose and not block the art.
On the artwork, we ask that “Fort Worth Design District" and "Snap and Share Art Walk” is written/visible, giving credit to the venue (possibly in the bottom left hand corner). We want this strategically placed, where it cannot be cropped out.
Please make art to scale. The background color should be black and the butterfly should be multi colored and fill the full-size of the banner. Remember, the text and person will be the focal point, we want crisp and clean image with high resolution.
Less could be more when it comes to the design. The design should beg for interaction and photo opportunity. Use as much or as little of the space to set the right effect, remember there may be a person(s) in the photo.
We will need vector file, raw art, fonts and curves.
Have fun on this project, it shows through on your work!
