How glowability started their product label journey
Who are you known as?
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Cosmetics & Beauty
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
glowability: ancient alchemy:modern body care
products that combine ancient craft with modern aesthetic, experience
target: those interested in chemical free, but effective body care
products, those interested in small batch and artisan products, those
who believe quality is more important than price - higher end brand
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Interchangeable product labels.
Should allow for easy transition from one product to another by
simply switching out product name and description. Design for 2",
round labels and 2" x 3" and 1" x 3" rectangular labels. Example:
Product Name = Solita Balm, Description = She does it all alone,
repairing and rejuvenating faces, bodies and spirits in no time flat.
She'll be your one and only.
Goal= Label that evokes both a modern and ancient feeling at the same
time with a polished/luxury edge.
Though the products are natural in essence the label design should be
modern and clean, but also contain graphics that incorporate
alchemical symbols, an alchemical garland of sorts is what I have in
mind. See example: http://www.glowability.com/garland
Preferred aesthetic genres: very white / clean, ornate patterns and
color color blocks or super saturated color palette and bold graphics
with different color for each product
glowability color palate = purples, golds, oranges, turquoises
glowability logo font = modern antiqua
glowability is a registered trademark
product packaging = silver, gold and bronze tins with white labels
the product name is primary on the label. glowability (brand name) is secondary on the label or sometimes introduced only on a second label (such as on the lid of the product - see attached image).
