Boulevard got their new print or packaging design by running a design contest:
Sleek Marketing Brochure for NYC-Based IT Support Company
Check out Boulevard's Print or packaging design contest…
Boulevard is New York City-based startup IT company. We help our clients navigate the dizzying world of IT, by providing Support, Design, and Deployment as well as broad array of advanced technical systems and services. First and foremost, we are professionals, but like to think of our staff as friendly, helpful and understanding. We emulate a competent cool, but do not overexert that to the point of being snarky or disaffected. It is our goal to proactively monitor and assist our clients through our enthusiastic helpdesk or computer-to-computer interaction (made possible by finely tuned enterprise-level software) and of course, in-person, as we are VERY human.
What's your vision?
***MARKETING PAMPHLET/FOLDER FOR BOULEVARD*** We are looking for a multi-page/flap Marketing Pamphlet. We already have a preliminary design that we have decided against using but will include for reference, which can be found here…<Rejected Original Design.pdf > along with our assorted Logos, a PDF entitled <Binder.pdf> that speaks to the style of folder that we would like use as a template. Additionally attached, is a stock image <Stock Photo.tif> that our team thought was interesting as a concept. I. The folder will be 8-pages, which includes an inner flap that would more or less accommodate information about our company. The last page would have a 1/3- page (standard folder) pocket at the bottom that will have an area dedicated to and cut-outs to accommodate space for a business card. The business card could have general company information, i.e. name, address, Website, phone…beneath the business card or to the side of it. II. The back of the pamphlet should be sparsely populated with essential information and perhaps some incarnation of our logo. The folder will be printed on a glossy stock of medium thickness. We detest stock photographs of service-oriented people answering phones. III. How we interpret our logo (this is very important to us): — Circles on the globe represent SYSTEMS — Squares on the globe represent SERVICES — The connected dots (light blue / V-shaped) represent a Boulevard (in our minds). IV. Page Breakdown: (We have included a PDF of the style of folder we will be using, found here…<titled: Binder.PDF>. This should make our folder’s appearance obvious to you. 1— Cover 2— Inside Page (About Us/Our Vision/etc) 3— page 2: SUGGESTIONS? 4— page 3: Systems - this will be a bullet pointed list / blocks of text of the systems we offer. 5— page 4: Services - this will be a bullet pointed list / blocks of text of the systems we offer. o NOTE: Pages 3 & 4 are stapled into the folder 6— page 5: SUGGESTIONS? 7— page 6: As mentioned above, this page will be blank with the exception of the bottom 1/3 of the page, which will be a pocket (that will contain documents/one-sheets such as testimonials. We are not opposed to using some of this space for branding and/or logo and/or industry-specific artwork (again, no stock photos)… The front of the pocket will have (a standard binder pocket, about 1/3 page) space and cut-outs to accommodate a business card. 8— Back Cover: Sparse... our logo, our address, maybe an obvious industry-specific graphic, such as the aforementioned clouds on our first design, and concept denoted by *** (three asterisks) in “Additional Notes For Artists” – which follows. *** YOU WILL NOTICE A BANDWIDTH BAR-GRAPH CHART ACROSS THE BACK COVER OF THE INCLUDED PDF AS WELL. IT IS OUR HOPE THAT A SUBTLE HYBRID OF THIS BANDWIDTH CHART <Chart.tif > AND THE NEW YORK CITY SKYLINE <Skyline.tif > CAN BE MARRIED TOGETHER AND CREATED. IF SUITABLE, PERHAPS THIS CAN EXIST ON OTHER PAGES AS WELL, THE BACK COVER, FOR EXAMPLE. •PLEASE NOTE: Concepts that we have provided you with are merely our thoughts thus far, we are not graphic artists and we appreciate your creativity and UNIQUE, FRESH approach Size of Folder: Full Bleed Size 9.5” × 12” Document Trim Size 9” × 11.5” Safe Zone: 8.5" x 11" Folder Flap 4" x 8.75" Business Card Size 2" x 3.50" ASSETS INCLUDED: • 01.
