I was immediately impressed with the way Qinkqink used the information so that each aspect was given focus without appearing congested. I also love how he used colours to make the design eye catching which is great for my marketing.
His design got my idea very well.
How David G. started their print or packaging design journey
I am the CEO of KettleBell Concepts, the industry leader in kettlebell education for fitness professionals. Google kettlebell training and you'll see what it's all about. Very important: We are strictly B to B! We are the "trainer of trainers." We're ready to launch a second video on our site that's much more "business focused" in conjunction with the one on the home page now. These people are my demographic: http://efisportsmedicine.com/commer…stimonals/
Similar business models include yogafit.com, efisportsmedicine.com, fitnessanywhere.com, zumba.com, and others. KBC is NOT the "hoo rah, hard core" demographic of Crossfit.com or artofstrength.com or dragondoor.com. Those companies (esp AOS and DD) cater to the general consumer and more or less ANYONE willing to pay their rather insane prices. That is not KBC. Our philosophy, which hasn't made it up on our site yet, is: Educating: We are committed to educating the industry's best kettlebell instructors. Learning: We understand the importance of learning more ourselves each day. Helping: We are focused on helping others achieve and exceed their fitness goals. Living: We believe in living better thru safe, fun & effective exercise programs. And we do ALL of this at an industry standard price point!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The demographic is STRICTLY b to b. The readers of the brochure will be, mostly, owners of health clubs. More likely it will either be the fitness manager, group exercise director, or personal training manager. I am not interested in trying to convince the readers that kettlebells are great. That's for the consumer...and all fitness pros know what a KB is! I'm trying to get them to do one thing and one thing only: Bring KBC into their facility for an instructor training and launch a KB program in their facility. If you go here, http://kettlebellconcepts.com/index…Itemid=102 we live and die by that form. If we're not doing instructor trainings, we're not making money. Also check this link out: http://www.stottpilates.com/educati…sting.html PLEASE also look at yogafit.com, specifically under "trainings" to see what I'm talking about here. The copy, and the design, needs to a) set us apart as the ONLY, REAL choice for kb education for fitness pros. Since Dragon Door was first to (remarket) the bells, they have brand dominance on google but they're a consumer (publishing) company. . .not a business to business company. Also, their prices are way out of wack and they are not authorized to offer continuing education credits like KBC is.
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A NEW LOGO AT THIS TIME. THIS CONTEST IS FOR A NEW BROCHURE. . . A NEW REDEISIGN OF THE "MINI BROCHURE.PSD" BELOW INCORPORATING OUR NEW SITE ELEMENTS AND COLORS AS DESCRIBED IN "REQUIREMENTS" BOX.
We just did a complete relaunch but ***focusing on brochure now only.*** There' s a new hint of an orange that was NOT in the original site or brochure. If you can incorporate that into the brochure so it can match the site, that'd be cool. I asked my site guy for colors, and this is what they came back with:
Yellow: f5eb00 Med Gray: afb3bc Lt Gray: f0f0f2 Med Orange: ff9a00
Dark Orange: f37100 Dark Gray: 252525
I am open to a TOTALLY new look on the brochure. It doesn't have to just be slight differences.
I need so much more done, so if we work well together this is a start.
