Celebrate West Linn's 100th Birthday in 2013
West Linn values its rich heritage. The 100th anniversary of the incorporation of our city in 2013 gives us the opportunity to remember our history while celebrating our community and creating a legacy for tomorrow. We will honor the past through fun and educational activities and capture the images and stories of yesterday. We will celebrate the strengths of our community and build a remembrance for the future.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We would like a poster that advertises "100 Things to Do in West Linn" that directs readers to the wl100.org web site for more information. The words "West Linn Centennial Celebration" should be included, and there should be eye catching references to 2013 being the centennial year. The committee loves the look of the City of West Linn's WestLinnPride.com logo (the iconic photos inside the letters). This poster will be displayed around town so it should be designed to be instantly recognizable. The main text should feature "100 Things to Do in West Linn" and the subtext should be "Visit WL100.org" to learn more about West Linn's Centennial Celebration."

West Linn is an upscale, affluent community with a rich history. The design should reflect this asthetic.
