“Regent Street” is a brand used for men’s Business Shirts in a discount department store group. We already have the logo/brand design we wish to use and this can be down loaded from here http://www.4shared.com/file/8365523…treet.html
We need this logo design to be used on two different qualities of Business Shirts:
TYPE 1. A very basic business shirt (inexpensive but decent quality)
TYPE 2. A better quality business shirt (which naturally costs a bit more)
It is naturally important that the packaging for both types has strong eye appeal; however it is essential that the packaging on Type 2 evokes a sense of high quality (IE justifying the higher price of the shirt). This can be achieved by using a different colour combination or placement of the logo.
The packaging elements we need for both shirt types are:
A woven “main label”
Must contain the logo and “Regent Street”, a shirt size (use “41”) and the words (discretely) and in small font “MADE IN CHINA”. This label should tie in to the style and colour of the wrap band, described below. The label can be any shape or size (within reason)
A “wrap band”
This is a piece of paper which wraps around the shirt. This is the main element that will set the two shirts apart. The wrap band on shirt Type 1 might be very simple with basic graphics and colours. The wrap band on Type 2 might have richer colours and graphics – but in both cases the general design of the logo and Regent Street font must be used.
• On the wrap band for Type 1, include the words “Short Sleeve Easy Care”
• On the wrap band for Type 2, include the words “Business Classic”
To give you an idea of proportion, the wrap band design should measure 225mm across. The height is up to you, but should be no more than 80mm. The two wrap bands do not have to be the same height as each other. A different height might actually help to differentiate the two shirt types.
An example of where the two elements are to be used can be seen at this link: http://www.4shared.com/file/8317414…treet.html
As well as submitting the individual designs of the main labels and wrap bands, please also show placement on a shirt as per the link attached.
