Open Discount Club
Our club has grown internationally because we offer fantastic special low rates on hotels worldwide which are not available to the public. We want to make sure our club keeps an exclusive, professional image. We need a bold smart logo with a hint of exclusivity (e.g. American Express Gold) to replace our current design and image - see http://www.opendiscountclub.com Also as a thank you to all designers considering our contest, we welcome you to access our and use our club
Travellers all over the world - both on pleasure or business which book their travel online. The hotels we offer start from budget (3 Star Hotel reduced to USD$5 a night in mediterranean locations like Marmaris, Turkey) and go up to luxury 5 Stars in big cities at special discounted rates all negotiated to be especially low due to our large number of international users, their friends and families.
We need a symbolic icon to symbolise our club and logo.
The club is for people that travel internationally so please, nothing cheap or "supermarkety". The club works by invitation only so the image must be exclusive but nothing too fancy like the Davidoff logo.
Our tag line should be included in one version of the logo as well:
Special Rates, by Inviation Only
You can use any upper or lower case mix you think is apropriate for the tag and logo.
The logo should not be in anyway a direct reference to hotels. e.g think american express - the head on the gold card is nothing to do with banking. in a similar way we want the logo of the open discount club to be an icon - symbolising status, privilege, international access, history, established institution. We can always place the logo on a travel image later to assosciate it with travel or hotels. Another example - the logo for star alliance, the airline network - it does not have an airplane but a star as the logo, but it works. Be original though, please.
