What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are wanting to develop a rendering for the PDF images attached. The location is in the historical downtown district and we want to provide the owner with a vision on what she can do with her building to make is visually appealing. This includes keeping within historical color schemes for buildings built in the early 1900's as well as an appealing and fitting logo.
There is an image of the back of the building as well - optional. She will be putting in an unnamed coffee shop in that location eventually.
The name of the business is Main Street Pocket Shops. She would like the logo reflect women shopping. Her thoughts are a shoulders to hips drawing of a woman in movement, skirt showing motion, and a shopping bag in an extended arm. This is only her thoughts - you are the design pro, so you can decide if you want to keep to this or not.
Feel free to change the awning structure and colors. Her preference is a khaki color, but this is again, optional. Stucco and tiles can come off or stay on. She wants to expose the windows above the current awning. Your creativity and thoughts are welcomed. We want retail and historical appeal with a refined taste (the market for the district is for those with expendable incomes).
Explanation of attached photos and data:
Existing Building Example jpg and Rending of Building.jpg are examples of a rendering for an existing building performed by the Texas Historical Commission. This may give you an idea of what we are thinking of.
Scan.pdf is a scanned image of what she has submitted to us for consideration.
All other photos are images I took today with my iPhone. Some of them had brightness issues due to the angel I was at with the sun.
