Breakthrough New York

We are a college-access program that identifies and provides support for low-income, sixth grade students to go to college.

We would like an annual report designed which will communicate to our donors and potential donors the value of our program, our milestones for the year, where our kids have gone onto college and high school and where their money is spent.

My vision is to have a piece that folds out into a poster-size with lovely infographics and that folds down into a brochure-sized piece that we can mail out.

Must haves:

Designing infographics
Ability to align with the current feel of our website
Need to list our donors for 2012

The type of information that we would like developed into infographics would include info such as (the details will be filled in once we choose the designer as we have far too much information to include in this brief):

Expenses

Demographic breakdown of the students we serve

Where our kids went on to high school and college in 2012

How many of them are the first in their families to go to college

Inspiring quotes from the kids

Average commute of our students

Amount of time spent in our program (additional academic hours)

Average income level of our students

Brief description/roadmap of our services

On the brochure piece: listing of our donors for the year, call to action for donations.

We are looking to develop a long-term relationship with a designer to handle all of our future needs. Experience with nonprofits is a plus.
