Hello fellow creatives, Here is a brief about what this project is about.
-We have a total of 3 logos to be designed and the designer who wins this contest will be invited to the next 2 contests. If the designer comes up with something brilliant, we will automatically just give them the next two projects.
The first 2 projects "which this is one of them" Is for a 5 star wedding hall. Here is what we are looking for.
The client likes the idea of having the initials as a logo, this has to be an option, another option which we suggest highly and which we will fight to sell is using the peacock as a symbol of beauty and glamour. You have to be very careful and read the next part VERY, VERY carefully since we will need to eliminate people from the first try, that means you get 1 chance only.
-Pick one of two options, either the letters "EM" or an inspiration from the peacock, and if you are a brilliant, crazy, creative freak, you will manage to mix both. Impress us!
-Research and study a brand called "Sankara", If you nailed the same smart concept, you are in with us for all projects.
-If you are planning to go with the initials options make sure that your logo works with the letters "DW" Because that will be the next project, you don't have to show it to us, just make sure the logo works with the other 2 letters.
-The logo has to be in 1 color and maximum 2 if you really have a strong rational behind it. Feel free to make suggestions but I guarantee you they will pick gold.
-The logo has to be visible within a 1x1 cm since we need it to be seen from a distance and it will be applied on small objects like fountain pens and cuffs.
-We want the logo or a part of it to be capable of creating a pattern because we will be using patterns all over the place on items such as napkins for example.
-No gradients what so ever. You will be eliminated if you use a gradient.
-If you pick the peacock option "which I recommend you do", DO NOT use the whole body. We DO NOT want a bird on our logo. We will link a reference of what we are looking for exactly when we say we want the peacock to be an inspiration. You can have a hint of the whole bird in a smart way, but if it was too obvious, the option is out.
