Good experience, would definitely work with this designer again.
How monson40 started their logo design journey
We are a new sustainable product and services business. We provide information, consulting and products to consumers and non-profits. Products can range from locally grown organic produce to solar panels. Consulting services help non-profits to grow organically in sustainable ways.
Our approach is very pragmatic. While we are true believers in taking actions that preserve and improve the health of our planet, our products and services are focused on winning customers by offering the best product for the money.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Users and clients that are looking for high quality products and services that are also good for the environment and local communities. These customers are predisposed to organic and other "green" products, but don't trust many
"green" claims and believe they should be able to get great value without sacrificing the environment.
For example, if they install solar panels to supply their own electricity, they will do it primarily to save money and secondarily to save the planet.
Three related logo concepts. The primary uses of the logo will be on a website and on product packaging. For this project it should work in the following two formats:
- Webpage banner approx 300w x 100h
- Business card logo
Other formats will be developed later.
We have explored two different directions that have promise.
- Old growth trees - two in particular Douglas Fir and Bishop Pine. Photos attached. You might find better ones.
- Japanese kanji characters. See some of the Japanese translations of the word sustain here: http://www.saiga-jp.com/cgi-bin/dic…8730_40333
