How Rkbaumel started their logo design journey
Ball Buddie is a self-service Tennis Ball Rental Machine Unit that will be located at public and private tennis courts. People will walk up and pay and then will open the Ball Buddie box to use a tennis ball machine at the courts. Example: a person goes to the public court to meet a friend, that friend can't make it last minute. This person can go to Ball Buddie and rent a ball machine and still play... or those who just want to practice by themselves... point is people will no longer need a partner at the public courts. This has long been available at clubs and private courts, but now is there for the public as well.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Tennis Players of all ages, tennis teams, walk-by traffic. Anyone who plays or may want to play tennis!!!
We want the logo to be fun and inviting. We want it to attract people to use Ball Buddie and to be be comfortable with our product and our logo. It is also important that the logo is clear as to what the product/service is as this is a brand new concept that won't be immediately recognizable. While the name lends itself to the idea of a "character based logo" we would like to see some straight logos as well.
Colors: We are thinking about a palatte of classic tennis colors (court colors, ball colors, etc) The unit itself is going to be a blue metal box and the logo will be on the top of the box. The box will be 3'x3'x'3. The City may limit the size of the logo, so we want somethng clear and attention grabbing - even if is small.
