I am a sales professional following a dream of starting my own company with unique products. My hope is that I can build this company enough to bring in employees and establish a dynamic, supportive work environment for everyone involved. I like to lead by example and although I dress conservatively, I have no problem taking risks and not looking back!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our first product is focused on the golf industry and will concentrate on Golf Bags. Golfers cover a broad demographic so I have to be exciting enough to reach the younger generation while subtle enough not to put off the older generation. My target markets are males 14-70 and females 14-60. So, I'm trying to reach every golfer!
Although I am trying to reach golfers, I don't want this logo to imply we are a golf company. Rather, I would like to remain product agnostic so we can expand our line of products later without being pigeon-holed to golf. This logo will be significant in our brand recognition and will be located on several areas of the bag. As such, it has to be flexible enough to separate "logo" from "text". An example of this is Nike with their Swoosh. I'm hoping you can design a badge type logo that can be placed on the bag or apparel but be flexible enough to be able to separate the name "barsix" such that it can be utilized with or without the badge. As I said in my personal description, I dress conservatively but I like to take risks. I would like to see this badge and text have limited colors and limited clutter. Car logo's come to mind (Porsche, Audi, Volvo) with a badge and unique fonts so they are recognizable in either format. I use the word Badge a lot but it doesn't have to be shaped like a shield or badge. I would also like to use this logo on business cards, letterhead, etc. when the time comes. I hope this enough to get you started!!!! Thanks!
