It was great working with this designer. He took time to read and understand our design brief and gave us exactly what we were looking for. He was very prompt in responding to all the adjustments we asked for. I will definitely will be working with this designer in the future!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a special needs ministry within a modern, contemporary church in Virginia. Our ministry is undergoing a name change from "In His Image" to "Unlimited." We provide programs for children and adults with special needs and their families. We are looking for a simple, clean, modern logo with our new name that reflects a fun, inviting organization. Because we have events for both children and adults, the logo needs to reach a broad age group so while being "fun" it cannot just be "kiddish." We would also love for the logo to in some way reflect that we serve the special needs community, but not just with a wheelchair or someone on crutches. We prefer it to be in a more abstract way since we also serve a ton of people with invisible or hidden disabilities. We want the design to be clean and simple, not busy or complicated so that it fits with the overall theme of the church and works with the other logos our church uses. Colors we are strongly leaning towards are a bright yellow (but not neon) and a deeper gray so that they contrast well with each other. We need something that will work easily on a wide range of publications and materials, such as t-shirts, signs, posters, brochures, nametags, our website, etc. We do NOT want something "churchy" - no steeple, crosses, stained glass, etc. Our events are offered to the community for free so we want the logo to be something that stands out in the community but not turn people away just because it looks like a church event. We would like to see options with the slogan below incorporated and some without it.

Below are the logos our church uses. The overall FCC one along with one that is used for adult Bible study groups (Life Groups) and our children's ministry logo (called Kid's Life.) We need our ministries logo to flow with the overall look of FCC. Our website is about to relaunch in the next couple of weeks, but here is the current one should you need to refer to it: http://www.fcclife.org.
