SkippingStonesRipple got their new logo design by running a design contest:
"Skipping Stones" logo needed to make ripples of impact
Check out SkippingStonesRipple's Logo design contest…
"Skipping Stones" business name will support various (seemingly unrelated) initiatives, which all promote clean-living, conscious-impact choices for a simple and environmentally sustainable life. It's about returning to the simple pleasures in life and finding solutions that can take us forward. -- Choose your stones wisely. How far can they skip? Ripples or splashdowns? Each one impacts everyone - which is horrific, and fabulous. I want to inspire, and be inspired, to make the most sustainable choices every day. Choose the way to make your mark on the world, and reduce personal impact. -- "Lik-Stiks" will be 1st retail product, which is personal cutlery. Single, small sized, portable, stainless steel cutlery showcased in clear glass tube designed to abolish single-use or disposable mentality. It is more about advocating for the movement, or culture, of Bring Your Own Cutlery, than about the product itself. I'm not clear how to integrate the 2 concepts? "Lik-Stiks" text needs to be printed on the cutlery product, but perhaps in conjunction with the Skipping Stones logo? The SS logo needs to be transferable to other unrelated products later. Eg: "Lik-Stiks, a Skipping Stones initiative" Target audience can honestly be anyone (we all eat and have impact!) but primarily eco-friendly and open-minded (educated) conscious shoppers (money to spend on desired outcomes). It should target adult youth and women (as the main influencers of home purchases) but not be exclusive to any gender/age.
Other color requirements
The brand needs to be simple enough to be laser/emboss branded onto glass or wooden surface. Potentially a colour version for media, but able to carry the same message in a 2-tone image on product.

Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
