Sharepoint Alerts is going to be a website for sharepoint users looking for information on SharePoint Alerts.
SharePoint is Microsofts biggest ever server product with over $1 billion revenue and 100,000's licences sold.
Alerts are one of the most frequently used features of SharePoint, so not surprisingly lots of people have lots of quesitons about how to use them.
The aim of the site is to become an interactive knowledge base on SharePoint Alerts, for SharePoint users.
We will be including FAQ's, articles, blog posts, product reviews and links to other useful information sources on the net. The site is intended to be very interactive and will be built using Wordpress and Wiki pages.
The site is sponsered by Pentalogic Techology (http://www.pentalogic.net), who make web parts for use with Microsoft SharePoint. So you might like to consider making reference to the Pentalogic branding in your logo - but this definately shouldnt be too overt.
This will be a worldwide business audience. Some of the audience will be IT professionals, but most not.
I am looking for a logo that will mainly be for use on the web, but is capable of being used in print if needed.
I would like one version that incorporates the site name "SharePoint Alert" and one that is just a graphic device. It would be good if it was possible to use the graphic in other places around the site - like bullet points.
The main logo should lend itself well to working as the site header, and also in banners and advertising.
