Very talented designer and very responsive, simply excellent!
great work in the logo was done for us
Great to work with and very quickly grasped the concept and responded to feedback. I was impressed that Volxdo nailed it on the first try, and was still willing to fine-tune the design.
Muntaha's was fabulous to work with. He was on track from the very first design he submitted. There were 20 designers in my contest and Muntaha's was always in the "keeper" stack. I can recommend Muntaha's with no problem at all.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I design and build modern style wood furniture and accessories considered to be artistic but always true to the natural wood. Many pieces are from fallen trees or reclaimed wood from old houses (shotgun houses). My goal is to introduce quality modern objects that fit well into southern traditional spaces. I see my target audience as those who need to be converted from looking like everyone else, buying cheaply made mass produced crap, and show them the beauty of quality craftsmanship. My company is about breaking from the norm and is youthful. No frills or thrills, just good wood design. If you purchased one of my modern pieces for your traditional home it wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. My works are like good blue jeans; timeless.

I'm influenced by Charles and Ray Eames, Sam Maloof, and George Nakashima. I also like concretecartel.com and have similar style. Timeless, tried and true. I'm looking for a logo that conveys sophistication with a bit of faded rock and roll rebellion. "Shotgun" comes from shotgun houses (their wood quality and architecture) but it also gives a cool connotation and is used in naming some of my pieces such as the "Double Barrel." Modern style, minimalism and quality is what I introduce to traditional environments. The slogan doesn't have to be large or stand out too much. I like a coat of arms style but I also like street art symbols a lot, like Banksy.
I love the whole process but my favorite part is cutting the new raw log or tearing away at an old shotgun house for the cedar. I've imagined a graffiti like stencil of two logs together that resemble shotgun barrels and maybe have a the "this guitar has seconds to live" thing going on but with a real axe instead. Or maybe he's about to tear down the old shotgun house with the axe and make something better of it? Just thoughts. I want the logo to fit my passion of working with my bare hands to honestly create something. Feel free to go simple or complex. I may want two designs; one as a quick symbol for business cards and one for shirts. Once the sawdust settles all that's left is intelligent, honest, purposeful design!
