I was very impressed by galinksong's efficiency - nailed the requirements on more or less the first attempt and got exactly what I was looking for. Not just that, once I had said I was very happy with the design, I didn't get flooded with additional design proposals, which is something I got with a lot of other designers.
How DRAWnce started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our church is in a small town in Arizona, in the mountains.
Restoration Church exists to introduce people to the life changing power of Jesus. We have a mix of people that make up our current church, we have former drug addicts, people who have done time in jail, young families with kids, teenagers, and some old people too! We typically cater our design and the look/feel of what we put out to the younger crowd, so we want something that is on point with current design trends. Our design aesthetic could be classified as clean, modern, and a little fun.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.

We value excellence in all of our visuals. Favorite fonts include: Avenir, Akzidenz-Grotesk, Baskerville, Bodoni, Futura, --a mix of classic and modern font wise. Don't send us any Comic Sans or Papyrus if you want to win, it will just make us cry. We are open to ideas for color palettes, but do want a logo that has flexibility, i.e. it is strong enough to stand alone solid white on a colorful background or one color as we brand across multiple different ministries.
We want forward thinking, simple, and modern looking.
Please avoid overused religious imagery like doves, bibles, and raised hands.
