How Maxwell J Sukupchak started their logo design journey
Reflections Auto Detailing
Reflections Auto Detailing is a new mobile car detailing company in the Daytona Beach, FL area. We visit clients at their work or homes and detail both the interior and exterior of their vehicle. Using top of the line washing, polishing and waxing techniques we strive to offer our customers a car that will truely reflect like it was in a show room. Our websit is currently being built but for reference you may view it at http://www.reflectionsofdaytona.com
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We strive to reach two completely different markets. Young busy adults who take pride in their sports cars are our main target. These individuals may like more of a catchy and creative logo design that will grab their attention. Our other main target market is for older upper class customers who want to protect their car like an investment and want it to look great. This target group will like a logo that shows stability and is simple to understand. Our logo needs to accomodate both of these target markets.
Creativity is key for this design. Try to incorporate the name into the design. I visualize the name "Reflections" really playing into the logo. Using some sort of mirror imaging or something might work great. Or having the name of the company reflecting in a car. I want a logo that is simple but still fun. Try to make this logo look professional yet bring some spice into the overall concept. Cleaning cars is our business and using a sports car in the logo may work great but try to be original and not just our company name written next to a car. On many of my print ads and my website I have tried to use red and black colors as a theme. Try to use these colors if possible but not at all necessary. Just have it match with that style of theme.
Since I'm not sure exactly what I want throw all kinds of ideas at me. There really are no requirements at all for the logo other than it needs to draw customers by making us look like we know what we are doing when we detail cars!
