Great job in a hard competition. Very flexible and also good consulting skills during the process.
How Mark1 started their logo design journey
Forward thinking, full of idea's. I know where the business is and know what marketing can do for a business - everything - I like modern trends and design and that is what the picture framing business is about. The industry hasn't changed much in decades and I want to be the one that bucks the trend and market my business better than the competition. I like professionalism in the way I go about things because it shows through in your product and service. I work hard to give my clients what they want! I want to look great doing it. The logo is just the start albeit an important start.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Retail art galleries, custom frame stores & artists. They like to deal with people they trust. They say people decide within seconds from going to a website if they want to buy. I want a logo that new clients will trust so the subliminal message is important.
Redleaf Moulding is the name of the company and I need a modern redleaf icon design. I think it may be best to stay away from a tag line but if I was going to have one it would be - Service - Quality - Value. We have to be seen as a modern, professional company. I'm looking for a polished and professional logo that will be used to co-ordinate my new branding package. The logo will be iconic and will translate well for calling cards, stationary, e-signature and as watermark.(Modern leaf icon prefered) Ideally the logo will be compact and easily constrained into boxes / circles. It needs to look good on clean, white (or black) backgrounds.
Try to stay away from the mapleleaf as we don't want to be tagged as being just Canadian. The logo will be used on all corporate materials so I need it created on files that are easily transferable to website etc.
The text can be two colors max and doesn't have to match the leaf. I am open minded about all colors.
redleafwater.com is ok but not modern enough and I don't think the maple leaf is the way to go. I have seen leaf logo's I like on logomaid.com in the nature section.
All rights to the winning design will be fully transferred to Redleaf Moulding at the end of the contest, once payment has been made. All work must be original!
