Marcel's opened March, 1999 and this summer we have redecorated our restaurant and also want to re-design our logo to reflect our more updated, modern look. We no longer have purple hues in the interior and want to take the "yellow" color to a gold look. The new logo will need to translate well into a decal of gold and black for the front, exterior glass, see sample (http://picasaweb.google.com/dcsigns…4992072642) and also for use on our website, biz cards, etc. The posted restaurant hours are already in black and gold leaf.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Marcel's is open nightly for dinner only. The average check per person is $175-200 and attracts and older crowd 45+. There are lots of regulars and first time diners are usually celebrating birthdays/anniversaries/etc.
French wine list with some California wines (full time sommelier), classic French-Belgian cuisine with a modern twist. Visit http://www.marcelsdc.com
This is Chef Robert Wiedmaier's only fine-dining restaurantant and he owns other Belgian-style restaurants in DC, VA & MD that are casual.
Logo will be used on exterior plate glass window and we will use "gold-leaf" style with black trim, so logo should have this option.
Also would like the logo with and without the "Wiedmaier" name.
"Marcel's" can appear in all caps or just the first letter capped. We do use the classic fleur de lys logo in the restaurant, if you want to try incorporating. Different fonts for "Marcel's" and "Wiedmaier" is encouraged.
No icon needed. Will need files .ai and .jpg
