Our church Vision states:
REACHING OUT with the love of Christ,
WELCOMING IN to the body of Christ,
BUILDING UP disciples of Christ,
GOING FORTH in the name of Christ

***NOTE: CENTRAL TO ALL OF THESE SHOULD BE A CHRISTIAN CROSS AS A
FOCAL POINT. IT SHOULDN'T BE OVERBEARING OR GAUDY, BUT CENTRAL TO SEE

* A heron or egret (maybe flying or standing in water or lakeside
among reeds, cattails, etc.)..
* Cattails with other reeds, etc.
* Tall Pines: (we are located in a lakeside community called

* Pine cone(s)
* Maybe even a dog (labrador retriever) in a calm state or playful
* Lake scene
* Maybe a sun in the scene (?)
Remember: we do want it to be very simple and easy to see and
recognize so don't put too much detail in it.
As far as I know (according to Google images) there are no churches
that use any of the above nature-type images so this provides some
creative opportunities for you.
Note: we're in "lowlands" & not near mountains... look up South
Carolina Lowcountry for more picture ideas.
Target audience: a welcoming place for all.
