The Training Farm
We provide courses in post-production editing and
design software for film and television. We work with a variety of
trainees, from experience professionals looking to learn new programs
to novices and beginners hoping to learn the art of film editing.
Our classes, which provide trainees with the tools needed to gain
certification in their program of interest, are taught in a
small-group setting with careful one-on-one attention from experienced
and dedicated professionals.
By branding as The Training Farm, we're hoping to develop a new
identity as a continuing resource for those looking to train for the
post-production industry.
We're a fun group enjoying ourselves in the creative industry, and we'd like our logo to reflect that. One of the advantages of this business is the ability to embrace our quirky side and have it be an asset to the company. We hope to express that sense of liveliness and adventure in our logo and our brand, and set ourselves apart from our competitors by offering more than a training program.
We think with the right logo we can let potential customers know right off the bat that they're going to get an experience at The Training Farm they won't soon forget!
Most of our trainees are between 25-30 and can be identified in two groups: novice editors looking to improve their skills and possibly pursue a career in post-production, or experienced professionals who need to qualify on the specific software we offer.
Our target audience is usually tech-savvy, creative and generally detail oriented. New trainees usually have amateur experience with lesser editing software and interest in new media and online outlets. The more experienced group work long hours in a repetitive process, usually on a variety of projects.
We're looking for a logo that captures our enthusiasm we like to be contagious with our trainees.
Please take note of our starring system below- this should help as a guide to understanding what we are thinking!

1 star - Sorry, not at all the look or feel we are looking for.
2 stars - An interesting concept but it doesn't really fit the look and feel of the company.
3 stars - Getting warm, we can see where you are going and would like to see more.
4 stars - This is a good concept and we like the logo. You are almost there.
5 stars - Love the concept and logo. You have made the final cut, fantastic job.
