This is a political campaign logo.
The candidate's name is Robert "Bob" Homan. He is a professional firefighter running for Fire Commissioner in Washington State. The campaign is for a small office in a local election. He lives in Graham, Washington - a suburban/rural community at the base of Mount Rainier. Fire Commissioners manage and oversee the operations of local fire departments with an emphasis on fire protection and emergency medical services. The words "Homan" and "Fire Commissioner" are essential design elements in the logo.
His full name "Robert Homan" or "Bob Homan" could be used as well and incorporated into the design. The design should certainly emphasize a firefighter/firehouse or emergency services look that is trustworthy and inviting, simple, yet sophisticated, and would encourage someone to support or to vote for this candidate and campaign.
The use of a Florian Cross is encouraged if possible, but is not necessary nor is it required - reference the International Association of Firefighters logo specifically. This is a conservative community so the use of patriotic themes is also encouraged but again not required.
