Linkclump is a Google Chrome extension that allows the user to open multiple links at once. It works by letting the user click and drag a box over the required links; the links then open in new tabs in the browser. Similar products exist for Firefox (multi links & snap links plus) and Chrome (snap links). The unique selling points are that the user can choose how the product is activated and it actually works on a mac and linux operating systems. It will be a free product and open source for anyone to change and improve.
My goal is to produce a multi link opener that works (and therefore beating the competition), which I can show to people as an example of a product I can produce and give me experience in launching web/technology products. I will use all my knowledge to market the product and hopefully get it to a large audience.
Anyone who uses Google Chrome.
I want a logo that will primarily scale to three formats:
* Google chrome icon -> 19x19
* Favourite icon -> .ico format 16x16
* Large logo for the web page that should be scalable and include the word "Linkclump" (can be lowercase)
I've attached a picture of an example of the logo formats, although I'm looking for a bigger logo for the web page. The web page icon should have more detail than the chrome and favourite icon.
I've attached a *very simple* mood board that shows a screen shoot of the product at work and examples of "clumps" and "pointers" that will hopefully inspire your beautiful creations. I have also included a rough logo idea of what it could look like (it also demonstrates my inability to do graphics), but you should feel free to produce other ideas. Green and red/orange are also example colours (as selected from http://colorschemedesigner.com).
I want the logo to have the feeling of a "web 2.0" site - simple, clean, bright and effective.
I'm looking for a design that represents real objects rather than abstract shapes - for example, a cloud rather than a circle, and a tree rather than a line (these are just examples of what I mean!!)
