How Thestation started their logo design journey
Cross Roads Convenience
We are a christian family who lives literally in the wild wild west. We are Wyoming ranchers and business owners. We will be opening a convenience store in 2011. The store is located at the "crossroads" of two highways that intersect the entrance to one of the largest natural gas exploration fields in the united states...The Jonah Field. Before the gas and oil industry hit town, this county was home to a thriving fur trade industry, with many a "stage stop" and the Oregon Trail is nearby.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are the only store available for a 25 mile radius and 70% of our market is oil and gas field workers. They are big, strong, rough, tough, overworked and hungry! We also service local ranchers, outdoorsmen (hunters, fishermen, atv and motorcycle riders, hikers) and travelers on their way to and from Yellowstone National Park.
We would like our theme to have a western flair, a christian "cross" located somewhere in the logo (be creative), and could also incorporate the oil and gas industry in some way.
The logo needs to not be too "busy" so we can get our information across quickly while our customers are driving 65 mph.
