janevir got their new logo design by running a design contest:
99nonprofits: Orphan Sock needs a fresh look to attract donors! Is it YOUR look? ;)

community. charity. outreach.
Orphan Sock is a project that our parent organization, EquipNepal, is starting within our local community. It will be a charity thrift shop that is staffed by volunteers and some paid workers who need a hand up. Volunteers work for a local or international charity of their choice, and at the end of each year, profits (after expenses such as rent and supplies) will be split between the organizations that are represented by workers and distributed to them as donations. Paid workers will be learning how to budget their funds and get out of poverty under the supervision of mentors. The thrift shop will also give away clothing and other items to the needy in the community. EquipNepal will administer the thrift shop and will also receive funds to donate to our partners in Nepal through the volunteer worker program described above. EquipNepal supports children's homes and other outreach organizations in Nepal. The target audience for Orphan Sock will be the community of Billings, Montana USA. We want Orphan Sock to impart to them that we can all work together to help here (locally) and far (Nepal or other international locations) in the Name of Jesus, who mandates to us in Isaiah 1:17 to "Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow."
Logo types to explore
I don't want it to look too much like a Christmas sock (in color or use), but I am not against that traditional shape. A clothesline or something like that would be cute! It will be a shop name, also, so that could be kept in mind. EquipNepal's website: www.EquipNepal.org (may help you to understand what we do, but Orphan Sock is really its own entity (just fundraising for EquipNepal).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at NOK 2,599.
