How Mitchell Hall started their logo design journey
Trident Endurance Sports
I am a nineteen year Navy SEAL who is set to retire in 11 months and launch an endurance sports coaching service. I will be providing the following services: coaching for running, swimming, cycling, AND triathlon as well as training camps for the same activities. Finally I will spend a fair amount of time with youth development in endurance sports.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I will target people who are willing to challenge themselves in the above mentioned activities. They are typically 25-45 years old, but as I mentioned, I will be trying to also hit the relatively untapped youth. The sport of Triathlon is where the majority of my expertise is so I expect that to carry the business. Triathlon is not an inexpensive sport and most people who will pay for coaching flirt with six figure salaries.
The colors I am using are Navy blue (dark), white, and yellowish gold. I have seen designs where one or all of the colors are textured. Interesting but I don't want it to be too busy. I have considered using Neptunes Trident within the logo. One design intergrated it into the "E's" in all the words. Intersesting. The Trident is a play on my former career as well as the sport of "TRI"athlon. I want to make sure that "Trident Endurance Sports" is spelled out. Think classy, memorable, and slightly militaristic/ scientific.....I would like to entertain one wild card submission from each of you. Think outside the box and break all the requirements. Maybe we will stumble on something. If I was good at this I would start a graphic design business instead of coaching:).
