Objective: We need a logo/brand mark that acknowledges our rich heritage but is appealing to our target audience.
About us: Faith is a local church, centered on ministering to the whole family. Each weekend, Faith is currently ministering to more than 1,500 adults and over 500 youth/elementary students across its two campuses in Arvada, CO. Faith is a healthy multi-generational church made up of many families and individuals who value gathering for teaching, worship, and community. Faith’s value for local and global mission is obvious and permeates all areas of ministry. They believe in living ‘Life on Mission’ as a call, not only to grow in maturity as believers, but to reach the lost – whether in the simple effort of being a good neighbor, to impacting the workplace and community with kingdom influence. You can boil down their vision into two words – changed lives. In everything Faith does, it’s aim is see lives changed.
Vision: Changed Lives. Changed World
Mission: We are a Christ-Centered, Spirit-led, Family of Faith, Passionate to see lives changed.
Target Audience: Our target audience is a 30 year old with kids. We are located in Arvada, CO. This area is primarily white upper class. We are located about 30 minutes from the Rocky Mountains. We place a high value on outdoor activities. Hiking These 30 year olds will primarily have their kids involved in a lot of weekend sports. They will have their iPhone in one hand and a Starbucks drink in the other.
Dos: This logo must have our name in it, “Faith Bible Chapel”. We are also looking for a brand mark. It should be simple and clean. Design cues from previous marks would be welcomed but not necessary. The mark and typography should work in color and black and white. It should be widely versatile to be used on websites, print, t-shirts, business cards, billboards etc.
Historically, we have been a “House of Brands.” Everyone of our ministries has their own logo which does not represent the “parent” organization (Faith Bible Chapel). This new logo will need to be versatile enough to be able to have these other ministries sit as a sub-brand of the parent brand making us a “branded house.” The best example I have would be Apple. Everyone knows of Apple and that Apple has the iPhone, iPod, Macbook etc. This is a difficult endeavor, so I am very open to ideas on how we can make sure that all these other ministries (Alpha, Celebrate Recovery, Jail Ministry, Young Adults, Faith Groups, Missions, Faith Fit etc.) point to our parent brand and not an individual brand.
Don'ts: We do not want a religious symbol in our mark. This would be anything along the lines of a cross, Bible, dove etc. We place a high value on these, but they should in no way be represented in our mark. This mark should not be based around the three letters of FBC.
Preferences: Clean and simple is key. We do not want anything complicated. We are not an edgy church, so we don’t want anything grunge or too youthful. We have had a lot of yellow coloring in our logos in the past, but we would like this new logo designed around this color palette. https://color.adobe.com/create/colo…=0,1,2,3,4
