FROS & BEAUS

This brand is an initiative that celebrates girls with natural hair, curly hair (loosely defined as the Fro's i.e. likeness of Afro hair) and the men that support them (their "Beau" or boyfriend, or husband). Its target audience is African American men and women connected to the natural hair community (ethnic hair, naturally curly hair) and white males (all ages, but largely for 18-30 year olds) See our Instagram page http://www.instagram.com/frosandbeaus for old logo and feel for the movement. The logo has an ampersand in it (please keep this in place and do NOT spell the word "and" out or change it to "N") and NO AFRO LOGOS.
This is also a unisex movement, as it largely supports the involved men. I am open to exploring ideas with the play on words "beaus" to have a bow in the logo (as in hair bow or mans bow tie) Must however not appeal largely to one gender over the other.

NO AFRO LOGOS PLEASE! No hearts...its about love, but its not as cheesy as it appears. It's cute but also chic and modern and classy. I'd like fonts to be readable, no swirly FONTS please. Please use YELLOW in the logo, but not a bright overwhelming yellow (See other logos) Not a big fan of too much Italic fonts either! I want a novel and new concept of the logo, should be refreshing! NOTE: There is the option to revise the current logo, (but I'd love for it to be your personal design personality in it) or to come up with an out of the box thinking logo that nobody would think of! FYI, this logo will be featured in magazines in the future. Thanks!!!
