Mark Cahill is a well-known and respected Christian evangelist.
He's easy going, tuned-in, very real, kind of hip and happening, but with solid values and ethics.
He's known for speaking straight, being a huge giver, is kind and compassionate, but masculine.
He's someone who holds out hope, offers people a new start, and is very balanced.
Schemes can be colorful and bold, but need to be masculine and not overly dark or heavy.
His books and materials have been translated into over ten languages so there is a world-wide outreach component, but the focus tends to be in the U.S.
His overarching message is to reach the unsaved with the gospel so they can be saved from hell.
His message is to get Christians out there on the streets or while 'out and about' talking to the unsaved, handing out materials, engaging people in conversation, reasoning with them, loving them, giving to them, standing for truth, clearing up what the Bible says for them and explaining the terms of salvation.
The logo has to be comfortable for someone who is not saved and for someone who is saved.
Currently Mark is using a lighthouse photo with deep purple tones as a banner on his site for a logo. Black and deep purple have been the predominant colors. That banner goes out with all his email notices, and is the heading on every page of his site..
Currently Mark is using a simple, gray-lined splash of a sun with a few radiating rays on his sales receipts.
The common thread has been to use "light" that kind of represents the illumination of truth that saves and guides.
So, we're not suggesting using these old ideas, but we're open to new ideas or updating the older ideas.
We don't want to stifle anyone's creativity. So the field is wide open!!
