Mr. Miftach has been a real pleasure to work with, and he design a really great logo for me. He is a great designer, and I would recommend him to anyone.
I felt that Yass stopped at nothing to deliver numerous designs for me. It was like I had a personal designer who tirelessly and proactively worked on my ideas and suggestions. Yass stood out because Yass kept going, going, and going. All in all, 99designs and its community of designers are the best kept "secret" for any small business and entrepreneurs. Best of all, the designers are fearless and they love a challenge and a chance to showcase their craft. Kudos! -Rio

We are in the oilfield industry specializing in fabrication, welding of oil tanks and other oilfield items.
We are not opposed to something with a picture but would really like something clean and sleek as it will be on business cards, facebook, website, shirts, gifts, etc.
The oil drop that several people used was a nice touch.
We did not like the cartoon looking sparks that were used in several of the logos.
A cutting torch is used for cutting metal where as a welding lead is used for melting and creating things. We use welding leads more often. I had one designer ask about the difference.
We are a manly company but again are not afraid of a newer looking design. We like fonts that are cleaner and not so much ones like Times New Roman.
